This boutique backdrop is framed by original timber bookshelves, lined with vintage volumes and treasured Christmas heirlooms, evoking the warmth of Santa’s personal study. Lush green velvet curtains cascade from ornate golden rods, adding a regal flourish that perfectly offsets Santa’s signature red. Intimate, elegant, and rich in character, this setting offers a boutique portrait experience as timeless and magical as Christmas itself.

Where is the Homestead?
Sessions are held in the Sunflower Room at The Homestead in Eynesbury (487 Eynesbury Rd, Eynesbury VIC 3338), only 40 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD. This heritage‑listed venue provides a timeless and elegant backdrop for your Santa experience, blending historic charm with festive magic.
Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?
Rescheduling & Cancellations
You’re welcome to reschedule your session with at least 48 hours notice by clicking the reschedule link in your booking confirmation email. If you need to cancel, you may do so with 48 hours notice via the cancellation link — and you’ll receive a full refund. For cancellations made less than 48 hours before your session, please email our team. These will receive a 50% refund. Please note: no‑shows are non‑refundable, as time slots are limited and reserved just for you.
When will I receive my photos?
Your portraits will be emailed to you within 2-3 business days, via a private gallery link. You’ll be able to download them directly to your device.
Is the venue wheel chair accessible?
Yes, the Homestead and our Santa set are fully wheelchair accessible. If you need assistance, just speak to one of our friendly team members on arrival.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, all sessions must be booked in advance. Walk-ins are not available due to limited time slots and high demand.

What's a Sensitive Santa Session?
Our Sensitive Santa Sessions are thoughtfully designed for children with additional needs. Held in a calm and quiet environment — with no flash, music, or sensory aids — these sessions provide a gentle space tailored to your child’s comfort. Each session runs for five minutes, ensuring a relaxed and supportive experience.
Do you provide a first Christmas sign?
Yes! We have a beautifully styled “First Christmas” sign available for use during your session.
Can I book with extended family & friends?
Yes, simply book your individual sessions back-to-back, then add an extra session for a group photo. Please note: our set comfortably accommodates up to 6 adults.
What time should we arrive?
Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled session to allow time for check-in and settling in.
Will my child get a gift from Santa?
Yes, every child (under 18) receives a small gift from Santa at the end of their session, lovingly prepared by Sugar Plum Portraits and her festive helpers.
Do we receive a discount at Ms Peacock Restaurant?
Every family who books a Sugar Plum Portrait session at The Homestead will receive a 10% discount at Ms Peacock Restaurant. It’s our way of extending the festive magic beyond your portraits and into your dining experience. Present your Sugar Plum Portrait booking confirmation at Ms Peacock to enjoy your exclusive discount.
Are pets allowed?
At this time, Pet Santa sessions are not available at our Eynesbury location. We kindly ask that pets remain at home to preserve the heritage setting and ensure comfort for all guests.
